For the past six years, Flower Fury has been a persistent thread in my creative practice—taking root in the winter of 2020 as both refuge and exploration. What began as an escape, evolved into an ongoing visual inquiry.
At its core, the work asks a simple but disquieting question: what if a flower could grow beyond form—beyond ornament—into consciousness, capacity, and voice?
This question has guided a body of work that sits between stillness and motion, image and animation. I found myself working in that threshold space, where still images resist containment and quietly ask to move, breathe, and speak.
The collection continues to expand as a living visual narrative, shaped by cinematic tension and the language of transformation. It draws from the shadowed elegance of Film Noir, both classic and contemporary, while leaning into surrealist thought—where perception bends, natural forms become vessels for the uncanny.
Flower Fury is not yet a fixed story, but an evolving one: part dream, part dialogue with nature reimagined.

The Very First of All the Pieces
The very first of all the pieces marks a beginning — a quiet, decisive moment when an idea moves from the interior to the canvas. It is both declaration and question: an invitation to witness, to enter the artist’s mind at the instant form and feeling first align.
As the opening gesture of a body of work, it holds the studio’s future in miniature. It is an emblem: part memory, part prophecy — the first step into a series that will expand, contradict, refine, and return. To stand before it is to witness not only an image but the moment I will decide to begin again.
